Please select 3 pieces from groups (A) and (B), listed below and record them onto a cassette, MD, CD etc.
Please write your name, the names of the pieces and the date and location of the recording on the cassette, CD, MD etc.
The Perfomances should have been recorded after 1st November 2004.
(A)Bach : 1 piece from The Well Tempered Clavier vol. I or vol. II
(B)Chopin : 2 etudes of your choice from Op.10 or Op.25
Round 1
You will be required to play pieces from each of the groups listed below (A), (B), (C).
The performance time should be no more than 20 minutes in total.
(A)1 Etude by: Chopin, Liszt, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Stravinsky or Prokofiev
(B)The 1st movement from any sonata by: Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Clementi, Schubert
(C)A piece of your choice
Round 2
You will be required to play pieces from each of the groups listed below (A), (B), (C).
The performance time should be no more than 40 minutes in total.
(A)The remainder of the sonata which you performed for round 1
(B)Piece(s) of your choice by: Schumann, Brahms, Schubert, Chopin, or Liszt (You may choose pieces by more than one composer. In the case of a sonata, you may choose which movement(s) to play)
(C)Any piece of contemporary or modern music composed after 1900
