9 Miscellaneous

9-1  Visa

Contestants who are required to obtain a visa to enter Japan are responsible for applying for it. If an invitation letter is needed for acquiring the visa, please apply for it to the TIPC Office when submitting the Consent Form.

9-2  Insurance

Contestants shall purchase the insurances for their health and accidents, fire, theft and damage of their luggage and personal belongings for the term from the day of departure from and the day or return to their countries if necessary.

9-3  Neighboring Rights

All rights for broadcasting, distributing, performing, audio and visual recording, publishing, photographing, etc., of performances for all TIPC rounds, the opening ceremony and awards ceremony and any related performances held after the conclusion of the TIPC will belong to the organizer.

9-4  Protection of Personal Information

All personal information of applicants and contestants collected for the competition will be controlled by the organizer and solely used for this competition in accordance with Japanese Law.

9-5  Conformity to Japanese Laws

  1. (1) Award money shall include tax in accordance with Japanese laws.
  2. (2) Any problems that occur in regard to these guidelines will be resolved based on the Japanese Application Guideline and in conformity with Japanese laws.

9-6  Others

This guideline may be subject to change due to unavoidable circumstances.
