Application Guideline
This piece incorporates the impressions I had when I visited the Seto Inland Sea, where I saw the sea surface shining in the sunset, the strong ocean current and the seashore lined with modern buildings that harmonized with rich nature.
I myself grew up in a town along the Seto Inland Sea in Hyogo prefecture. Thus, Seto Inland Sea is a familiar place to me. However, the Seto Inland Sea that I felt in Kagawa Prefecture has a totally different atmosphere, and I was amazed at its varying expressions depending on the place you viewed it from. I hoped to be able to depict the beautiful, strong Seto Inland Sea in an array of expressions.
