With a legacy stretching back to 2006, the Takamatsu International Piano Competition is an artistic event which will provide a forum to bring together top musicians from all over the world. It is also an international event which aims to build a new culture of music onto KAGAWA’s traditional culture. It is a musical competition, held at Sunport Takamatsu, overlooking the beautiful Seto Inland Sea, which will encourage young people to stretch themselves and seize their dreams and goals.
The 2nd Takamatsu International Piano Competition 2010 will give the winner opportunities to play recitals and perform with well-known European, American and Japanese orchestras, as well as offer them the support they need to become an internationally recognised performer."
